In the past, membership to the Timeshare Association has been open to any timeshare owners' committee, association or similar owner representative organisation from resorts in the UK and abroad. 

However, a new range of options for resorts, businesses and individuals to become involved with TATOC have been made available. These include:

• Full resort membership will be available to those resorts with owners' committees or other representatives directly elected by their members.
• Resort members will now be able to apply for the TATOC Certificate of Accreditation. Accreditation is for resorts who actively adhere to TATOC's code of ethics and European timeshare and consumer legislation, have a robust customer service facility and operate under a comprehensive insurance policy.
• TATOC Affiliation is for approved suppliers of services and products to the industry such as software providers, exchange organisations and resale companies.
• Individual membership will be for timeshare owners whose resort do not have owner representation or whose committee is not currently a member of TATOC but who wishes to become involved and informed about the industry.

One of the most important benefits for joining TATOC is communication and information sharing. This is undertaken through regular email communication, the quarterly magazine to all committee or organisation members and a members only section on the TATOC website.

The TATOC website provides up to date information and news about the timeshare industry, communication of important industry issues such as changes in legislation, summaries of surveys undertaken, best practice case studies, special offers available to the Timeshare Association's members, links to websites of interest and how to access various informative and educational documents.

The website is your first port of call to access our new archives, read the latest news about TATOC and the industry and to look for suppliers in the Business Directory.

Members will also enjoy discounted delegate fees at the annual Timeshare Association's Annual Conference. This is a great opportunity to network with other committees and meet industry representatives.
