TATOC 2010 Conference Report

The 2010 TATOC conference held at the Nottingham Belfry was a great success with a record number of delegates representing member resort committees and businesses involved in the timeshare industry in the UK and in Europe.

There were superb presenations from both TATOC directors and professionals from the timeshare industry. Stephen Cloobeck from Diamond Resorts provided the keynote speech.

That was the message from Mark Cushway at this weekend’s TATOC Conference held at the Nottingham Belfry.

In a stimulating presentation entitled “Changing the consumer landscape”, Mr Cushway from Resort Properties Group told delegates that everyone involved with timeshare had an incredible opportunity to change the industry in a positive way. "It’s time that the thousands of happy owners start shouting about how great their timeshare is” he explained.

Supporting the initiative TATOC CEO Harry Taylor  encouraged all members to e-mail a testimonial to TATOC Sharetime Magazine. These testimonials will be part of a campaign to reduce the negativity surrounding ownership and generate balanced media coverage. “It’s time we became proud of owning this great holiday product – so tell your stories” Mr Taylor explained.
